Missy

Missy is a very special girl who is looking for a very special person to understand her shortcomings. She is an adorable little Staffie mix, about 3 years old, 38 pounds, and with a gorgeous red coat. We rescued her in the nick of time from being put down at the city shelter due to a lack of space. She is healthy, spayed, current with vaccinations, and microchipped. Now all she needs is someone to give her a new start in life.

Missy has a primary objective, and that is to be with humans as much as possible (all the time if it were up to her!). She hates being left alone and becomes very, very anxious when she is. She needs to be crated when left and will eventually settle down after a period of crying and barking. She is the happiest, calmest dog in the world when you are in the room with her. She is also quite goofy, loves her toys, is good in the car, and can sleep and cuddle with you for hours and hours.

Missy also becomes too anxious and pushy with other animals, so we are looking for a home outside the city where she will be the only pet (she would LOVE a home with a fenced yard!). She is terrific with people and is a smart, loyal companion. She would be a great dog to run or jog with too, although she would not require it.

This girl loves to give and get affection... just give her the chance!
